1905 is a new, open plan café with a twist that will leave you feeling like your early morning coffee purchase has just saved the world.
The staff at 1905 are employed by Workpower, an organisation that creates training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities and mental illness. 1905 are proud to produce much more than just good coffee and food. They urge customers to “feel good about being part of a venture that’s much more than a coffee shop”.
Built in 1905 and used for years as a furniture store, it’s been freshly remodeled for the café over a hundred years later. 1905 is fresh and bright with orange cushions complementing wooden floors and with high ceilings, indicative of the building’s history. The atmosphere is fresh, young and vibrant and there are readily available daily papers and magazines for you to browse. We checked out Frankie over juice.
Where else can you get beautiful architecture, feed a coffee addiction AND help your community?
